Deck overview

Ares, God of War is a Rakdos recursion engine that turns every hasty attacker into a reusable threat. The deck's primary plan is to crash cheap hasty creatures into opponents, let them die (or sacrifice them), and have Ares return them to hand for another go. Secondary paths use aristocrat payoffs-Blood Artist, Mayhem Devil, Garna Bloodfist, Goblin Bombardment-to convert those deaths into drain, plus Sneak Attack/Warstorm Surge bursts to finish two players at once. Hand disruption buys time while graveyard loops (Kroxa, Garna Bloodflame, Junji) restock. It is a mid-speed value aggro deck that wins through steady pressure rather than a compact combo.
