Deck overview

This deck is a Bant snow midrange strategy commanded by Isu the Abominable. It leverages an exceptionally dense snow permanent base to fuel both card advantage and combat pressure. Early ramp spells like Into the North, Boreal Druid, and Sculptor of Winter enable a turn 4 Isu deployment, transforming the top of the library into a virtual second hand. The deck applies pressure through two primary vectors: growing Isu into a lethal Voltron threat via snow permanent entries, and awakening the legendary 20/20 Marit Lage token using Dark Depths with Thespian's Stage or Marit Lage's Slumber. Control pieces like Frozen Aether, Icebind Pillar, and Icebreaker Kraken tap down opposing blockers and disrupt attacker tempo. While the deck generates steady card flow and presents massive combat threats, its multi-turn combat clock and modest stack interaction leave windows for opponents to answer its key creatures.
