Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Dimir Reanimator strategy piloted by The Ancient One. The commander serves as a cheap 8/8 body for two mana that fuels graveyard thresholds, acts as a sacrifice outlet for massive card advantage, and enables free commander-dependent interaction spells. The primary game plan seeks to dump devastating high-mana creatures such as Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Valgavoth, Terror Eater into the graveyard using Entomb, Buried Alive, or self-mill artifacts, then reanimate them for 1 to 2 mana. Once Razaketh or significant card advantage is established, the deck transitions into a compact finish via Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Supported by a robust suite of free countermagic including Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship, the deck combines rapid combo potential with oppressive stax locks.
