Deck overview

This is a mono-black combo deck built around Doctor Doom, Unrivaled. The singular game plan is to empty your library entirely-using Doomsday, Demonic Consultation, Tainted Pact, Inverter of Truth, or Leveler-then activate Doctor Doom's tap ability to draw a card and win the game. The deck is a tightly tuned tutor & ritual machine: it packs over a dozen unconditional tutors, a dense fast-mana suite (Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, Mox Diamond, Cabal Ritual, Culling the Weak, etc.), and powerful draw engines like Necropotence, Ad Nauseam, and The One Ring. Stax pieces such as Chains of Mephistopheles, Opposition Agent, and Defense Grid slow opponents while the deck assembles its kill. The commander is the only win condition, so every line funnels through it.
