Kykar v0.6

Format: Commander

Commander: Kykar, Wind's Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kykar, Wind's Fury leads a Jeskai artifact-storm deck. The plan is to reduce artifact costs, cast a critical mass of cheap artifacts and cantrips, and let Kykar's Spirits provide red mana and sacrifice fuel. Jhoira, Vedalken Archmage, Whirlwind of Thought, and top-of-library effects keep the chain alive. Wins come from Aetherflux Reservoir once the turn's spell count makes its life gain lethal, or from Brain Freeze at high storm count; Retract and cost reducers form the engine. The deck can also loop Retract with Phyrexian Altar for effectively unlimited storm. No hidden commander exists beyond Kykar; Brass's Tunnel-Grinder is simply utility.
