Deck overview

This deck uses Lord of the Nazgûl as a spell-triggered token engine. Cheap cantrips and interaction create Wraiths while Nazgûl grow the entire Wraith army whenever the Ring tempts you. The main goal is to reach nine Wraiths, cast another instant or sorcery, and turn the board into temporary 9/9 creatures with menace. Mana rocks and Dark Ritual support a Turn 5 commander in good ordinary draws, but the critical swarm usually appears around Turn 8. The deck then needs combat on later turns, making the finish vulnerable to sweepers, creature removal, and blockers. It has a respectable counterspell and removal suite, plus useful card selection, but it lacks compact tutors, a deterministic combo, and strong proactive denial. Kindred Discovery, Archmage Emeritus, and The One Ring can provide longer-game card flow, while Propaganda and the Witch-king cards improve combat control without creating a lock.
