Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Enchantress and Group Drain strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary plan revolves around attaching pacifying and ability-stripping Auras such as Darksteel Mutation, Reprobation, and Pacifism onto opposing creatures. Eriette turns these defensive enchantments into an asymmetric engine: enchanted creatures cannot attack you or your planeswalkers, while each Aura drains each opponent and gains you life on your end step. Mana reducers like Killian, Ink Duelist and Transcendent Envoy accelerate Aura deployment, while enchantresses like Sram, Senior Edificer and Mesa Enchantress keep the hand full. The deck closes games around Turn 9 through amplified drain via Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Sanguine Bond, or through flying token swarms generated by Sigil of the Empty Throne and Archon of Sun's Grace. Robust mass phasing and mass recursion ensure resilience against sweepers.
