Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Spellslinger and Burn strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a win condition and a ritual battery, growing with +1/+1 counters and dealing 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. The central engine attaches Curiosity or Ophidian Eye to Vivi, allowing every 1-mana noncreature spell to trigger three card draws simultaneously. The list leverages an ultra-dense package of 1-mana protection spells such as Dive Down, Shore Up, and Slip Out the Back that shield Vivi while advancing storm count and damage. Transmute cards like Dizzy Spell tutor directly for the core aura, while secondary pieces like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Veyran, Voice of Duality provide mana velocity and damage amplification. The deck consistently establishes a dominating, card-rich board on Turn 4 and closes the game with table-wide burn on Turn 5.
