Deck overview

High Perfect Morcant leads a Golgari Elf deck that wins through creature volume, scalable mana, and repeated Lathril, Blade of the Elves activations. Early mana Elves accelerate into Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, the Nurturer, and token engines such as Elvish Warmaster and Imperious Perfect. High Perfect Morcant turns each Elf entry into a -1/-1 counter, while Blowfly Infestation, Crumbling Ashes, Nest of Scarabs, and Flourishing Defenses reward counter placement. The practical primary clock is slow: assembling Lathril, Blade of the Elves and ten untapped Elves takes about six to seven turns, and four activations are needed to drain three opponents from 40 life. The deck has useful removal and creature protection, but limited access to stack interaction, weak recovery after a sweeper, and no deterministic compact combo. Triumph of the Hordes and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting are strong alternatives but depend on board size and setup.
