Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis artifact midrange strategy commanded by Dr. Eggman, designed to exploit villainous choices that force opponents into a dilemma between hand destruction and facing massive free threats. Built on an acceleration suite of 1–2 mana rocks and artifact lands, the deck deploys Dr. Eggman on Turn 4. At each end step, the commander draws a card and triggers a choice: opponents must discard cards or let the deck put high-impact Constructs, Robots, and Vehicles like Cityscape Leveler, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Tri-Sentinel, Act of Vengeance directly into play. Synergies like Waste Not, Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, and Geth's Grimoire capitalize on discarded cards to generate mana and card advantage. Supported by efficient countermagic and one-sided sweepers like Their Name Is Death, the deck transitions from early hand attrition into a dominating combat finish via overwhelming artifact beatdown.
