Deck overview

This is a Boros Equipment voltron deck led by Lightning, Army of One. The deck spends its early turns making land drops, deploying cheap Equipment, and using tutors such as Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Open the Armory to assemble a combat package. The primary kill uses Brotherhood Regalia for evasion, Genji Glove for double strike and an additional combat, and Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor to multiply Lightning's damage. Once Lightning connects, Stagger doubles damage to that opponent until the next turn; with the other pieces, one attack can deal 48 commander damage. The plan normally becomes operational around turn 7 and kills one opponent per turn through turn 9. The deck has strong creature protection and useful Equipment-based card flow, but it lacks fast acceleration, stack interaction, and rapid recovery after a board wipe. Its damage plan is powerful but requires several specific cards and substantial mana.
