Deck overview

This deck is a five-color exhibition build led by Cromat and supported by Jegantha, the Wellspring as a companion. Its defining construction feature is showcasing Magic's extensive history of named mechanics: every single nonland card contains a unique keyword or ability word, ranging from classic mechanics like Persist, Echo, and Cascade to modern abilities like Earthbend, Station, and Plot. The primary game plan operates as a midrange combat deck. It ramps through early turns, establishes five-color mana fixing, and deploys Cromat alongside value engines such as The Necrobloom, Black Market Connections, and Samut, the Driving Force. While the deck includes an infinite mana loop between Incubation Druid and Vigean Graftmage, its lack of dedicated tutors means it generally wins by applying steady combat pressure with evasive commander attacks and token swarms over multiple turn cycles.
