Edgar Markov [READY] by eckoefx

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Mardu Vampire tribal deck built around Edgar Markov's eminence, which creates a 1/1 Vampire token whenever you cast a Vampire from the command zone or the battlefield. The main plan is to flood the board with cheap Vampires and tokens, pump them with lords and Shared Animosity, and close through combat, aristocrat drains (Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant), and ETB pings (Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call). A second win is the lifegain loop: Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Edgar is a 6-mana haste beater whose attack trigger grows the team, but he is optional - eminence already works from the command zone, and every combo lives in the 99. Premium lands, Necropotence, and Skullclamp keep the engine fed.
