Deck overview

This Simic deck centers on The Astonishing Ant-Man, converting card draw triggers into +1/+1 counters and subsequently into a massive swarm of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient 1-drop and 2-drop ramp spells, deploying Ant-Man early alongside counter amplifiers like Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Doubling Season. Continuous card draw engines including Rhystic Study, Teferi's Ageless Insight, and Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards quickly swell Ant-Man into double-digit power. Once established, Ant-Man activates to flood the battlefield with tokens, setting up an overwhelming combat finish using Craterhoof Behemoth, Champion of Lambholt, or Sphere Grid. It also contains an infinite draw loop between Fathom Mage and Lyla, Holographic Assistant. The strategy is backed by protective spells like Heroic Intervention and a compact suite of efficient countermagic to safeguard its board against opposing sweepers.
