Commander: Rivaz of the Claw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an aggressive Rakdos Dragon-midrange deck built around Rivaz of the Claw acting as both a mana dork and a one-shot recursion engine for Dragons. Because mana abilities ignore summoning sickness, Rivaz taps the turn he enters and adds two Dragon-only mana every turn from turn three onward, while his once-per-turn graveyard cast re-buys a dead Dragon for a second ETB. The deck accelerates into heavy flyers like Golspand Dragon, Lathliss, Dragon Queeen, and Utvara Hellkite, pressures life totals fast, then refuels from the graveyard through Rivaz, Bladewing the Risen, and Haven of the Spirit Dragon. A dense treasure sub-theme - Magda, Brazen Outlw, Gadrak, the Crown-Scourge, Profesional Face-Breaker - feeds double-strike finishers in Swashbuckler Extraordidnaires and Blast-Furnace Hellkite. There are no infinit combos: the deck wins via flying board presure, Dragon ETB pings, and occasional bursts from Sarkhan the Mad or Hellkite Tyran.
