Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis control and political disruption list led by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. The core engine leverages Marchesa's triggered ability, paying one mana to filter and draw cards whenever a crime is committed against an opponent or their permanents. The list converts targeted interaction, cheap tap abilities, and redirect spells into steady card advantage. To close games, the deck accelerates into Phage the Untouchable, pairing her with haste enablers like Hanweir Battlements or Run for Your Life and unblockable effects like The Black Gate or Shadow Rift to eliminate players in single combat connections. Complementing this line are forced-donation tactics, goad spells like Disrupt Decorum, and copy effects such as Echocasting Symposium that can force lethal Phage tokens onto opposing boards. The deck excels at dictating combat flow, maintaining full hands, and executing sudden player eliminations.
