Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange powerhouse piloted by Zimone, Infinite Analyst, focusing on casting scalable X-cost spells that grow the commander and compound future mana discounts. By casting an X-spell each turn—including on opponents' turns—Zimone quickly accumulates +1/+1 counters, reducing subsequent X-costs to trivial amounts. Early turns prioritize deploying 2-CMC ramp and early counter-enhancers like Hardened Scales or Elementalist's Palette before resolving Zimone. In the mid-game, the deck pivots into massive card advantage via Hydroid Krasis, Pull from Tomorrow, and Drown in Dreams, refilling the hand while simultaneously expanding board presence. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage using massive trampling Hydras, scalable Fractal tokens from Deekah, Fractal Theorist, and overrun finishers like Overwhelming Stampede or Tanazir Quandrix. The deck also leverages flexible interaction like March of Swirling Mist and Repulsive Mutation to protect its board and disrupt opponents.
