Deck overview

This Temur Dragon deck uses Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm to duplicate large Dragon threats. The deck spends the first three turns deploying cheap mana rocks, land ramp, and tribal cost reducers to cast Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4. On Turn 5, casting an impactful Dragon creates an immediate non-legendary token copy, triggering powerful enters-the-battlefield effects and setting up massive combat damage. With enablers like Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas, the deck converts creature deployments into direct burn while drawing extra cards through power-based enchantments like Elemental Bond and Temur Ascendancy. It can also achieve infinite combat phases using Aggravated Assault paired with Old Gnawbone or Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient. While vulnerable to mass removal, the deck's high card quality and redundant threats allow it to close games quickly on Turn 6.
