Deck overview

Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca commands a Simic tribal engine that weaponizes untapped Merfolk to draw cards, pump the team, and slip past blockers. The deck rapidly develops a dense board of low-cost Merfolk, utilizing tap-and-untap engines like Intruder Alarm, Murkfiend Liege, and Merrow Commerce to maximize activations on every turn. Victory is achieved either by accumulating overwhelming combat damage through lord buffs and Overwhelming Stampede, establishing total combat denial with Deepchannel Mentor and Tempest Caller, or executing infinite turns by looping Wanderwine Prophets with token generators like Deeproot Pilgrimage or Deeproot Waters.
