Deck overview

This Commander deck is an optimized Kaalia of the Vast cheat-into-play aggro strategy in Mardu colors. The deck accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2 to cast Kaalia on turn 3, aiming to attack on turn 4. Each attack trigger cheats a devastating Angel, Demon, or Dragon directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, bypassing massive casting costs. High-priority payloads include Master of Cruelties, which can instantly drop an unblocked opponent to 1 life before combat damage, as well as game-warping threats like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Razaketh, the Foulblooded. The list features a resilient suite of zero-mana protection spells, versatile removal, and tutors to ensure quick, lethal board presence. While the deck possesses explosive one-shot potential, it relies heavily on Kaalia connecting in combat and requires careful sequencing to protect its commander from targeted removal.
