Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Simic Voltron strategy built around Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief. By casting targeted single-target Auras and combat-draw effects on secondary creatures like Stormchaser Drake or Slippery Bogle, Ivy automatically copies each spell onto herself. This mechanic doubles mana efficiency, creates two parallel threats simultaneously, and generates substantial card velocity through duplicate enchantress and combat-damage triggers. The deck accelerates quickly with low-cost ramp, transitions into overwhelming card draw by Turn 4, and applies lethal pressure by Turn 5 using massive stat multipliers such as Ancestral Mask and Auramancer's Guise. Defensive protection is inherently strong against targeted removal due to duplicated hexproof and Totem Armor effects. However, the deck remains vulnerable to untargeted mass bounce, mass exile wipes, and sacrifice effects, relying primarily on high-speed combat execution to close out games before opponents can assemble decisive interaction.
