Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mono-White Equipment Voltron build piloted by Cloud, Midgar Mercenary. Cloud guarantees immediate access to any Equipment in the library upon entering the battlefield and doubles all triggered abilities from itself and attached Equipment. The primary game plan curves Cloud on Turn 2 to fetch crucial weapons like Sword of the Animist or Sword of Feast and Famine, rapidly ramping lands and stripping opposing hands through doubled combat triggers. By Turn 5, Cloud stacks power-boosting and evasive gear such as Blackblade Reforged, Hammer of Nazahn, and Brotherhood Regalia to eliminate opponents in sequential lethal strikes. While the strategy relies on fair combat damage across multiple turn cycles, it offsets inherent board vulnerability with an exceptional defensive package featuring Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Grand Abolisher. Backed by redundant threats like Balan, Wandering Knight, the deck maintains consistent pressure and smooth recovery.
