Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Golgari token swarm strategy commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The game plan focuses on deploying Chatterfang early, multiplying token generation through Squirrel-specific and generic token engines, and converting wide creature boards into overwhelming mana and lethal combat damage. Chatterfang acts as both an exponential board multiplier and a repeatable creature removal engine, turning any token creation into additional 1/1 Squirrels and converting Squirrels into instant-speed removal. Card flow is sustained through potent engines like Skullclamp and Toski, Bearer of Secrets, while big mana enablers like Cryptolith Rite and Circle of Dreams Druid accelerate development. The deck finishes games decisively on Turn 5 by finding and casting Craterhoof Behemoth, granting massive trample buffs across a wide board to eliminate all opponents in a single combat step.
