Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet wheel and storm-style combo deck built around Arjun, the Shifting Flame. Arjun's ability turns every spell cast into a complete hand-refresh, triggering cards that scale with card draw. The primary game plan ramps into Arjun by Turn 5 and unleashes a flurry of cheap 0-mana and 1-mana spells on Turn 6. With payoffs like Psychic Corrosion or Niv-Mizzet, Parun on the battlefield, cycling through 40 or more cards in a single turn rapidly empties opposing libraries or deals lethal damage across the table. Heavy symmetric wheels like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Timetwister disrupt opposing hands while keeping the pilot's grip fully stocked. Cheap interactive spells protect the engine and remove critical threats while serving as low-cost fuel for Arjun's ability.
