Mill 5 2.0 by Corby00

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mindskinner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Helmed by The Mindskinner, this is a mono-blue mill-control deck that turns combat damage into a three-player mill effect. The commander's replacement ability means every point of damage from any source you control is prevented and mills each opponent that many cards, so an unblockable 10/1 body is already a 10-card swing against the whole table every turn. The deck layers Bruvac the Grandiloquent to double all mill, equipment like Fireshrieker and Blackblade Reforged to turn the commander into a game-ending clock, and mass-mill spells such as Maddening Cacophony and Traumatize to close out games. A dense counterspell, bounce, and draw shell keeps opponents from racing the incremental mill plan. The cleanest non-combat kill is Bruvac the Grandiloquent plus a kicked Maddening Cacophony, which mills every opponent out in a single spell.
