More Treasure

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm commands a Rakdos Treasure and Dragon deck built to scale with artifact-heavy board states. The commander punishes opponents by generating Treasure tokens on entry and converting spent Treasure mana into card advantage. You win primarily through aristocratic Treasure-sacrifice burn effects like Mirkwood Bats, Mayhem Devil, and Nadier's Nightblade, alternate victory triggers like Revel in Riches and Hellkite Tyrant, or massive combat pressure from evasive Dragons. In addition, Mayhem Devil targeting an indestructible Smaug the Impenetrable generates endless noncombat damage triggers and Treasures to burn out the table immediately.
