Kudo’s Kudos by user9210604

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kudo, King Among Bears, turns every other creature into a 2/2 Bear, so the deck is a token-arithmetic deck hiding behind a Bear lord. The primary plan is to multiply token creation, stack counter-doubling effects, and finish with one large alpha strike. Kudo is the enabler for Bear-type payoffs such as Three Tree City, Beorn, Banner of Kinship, and Ayula, while Captain Sisay and green tutors form a second mini-engine that finds legendary token multipliers or the finisher. There is no double-faced commander; Ojer Taq is the noncommander DFC, and the deck is built around its front face as a token tripler. The secondary path is a pure token swarm through Elspeth, Finale of Glory, and Parallel Evolution.
