Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos group slug and combo deck led by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy revolves around deploying cheap, continuous sources of 1-damage pings—such as Orcish Bowmasters, Razorkin Needlehead, Roiling Vortex, and Manabarbs—to punish opponents for basic game actions like drawing cards and tapping lands. Every time an opponent loses exactly 1 life, Ob Nixilis grows larger and exiles the top card of your library for impulsive card advantage. The deck converts this overwhelming resource velocity into a decisive win via two-card infinite damage loops with All Will Be One or Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute, or through an Underworld Breach storm finish. An extensive suite of redirection spells and protective equipment shields the combo while efficiently disrupting opposing plans.
