Destruction Before Creation by 155ShadowFang

Format: Commander

Commander: Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund deck harnesses the chaos of Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire to force symmetrical sacrifices while cheating high-impact permanents directly onto the battlefield. Its attack trigger creates a powerful value loop: opponents lose key pieces while the Vaevictis player exploits token fodder and topdeck manipulation to land threats like It That Betrays, Etali, Primal Conqueror, and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. Extra combat effects (Aggravated Assault, Hellkite Charger, Scourge of the Throne) multiply these triggers for overwhelming advantage. The deck also packs a one-card win in Primal Surge (only one non-permanent in the list) and infinite combat combos via Savage Ventmaw plus an untap effect. Without instant-speed interaction or counterspells, it wins by burying opponents in value and combat steps before they can recover.
