Reach for the Sky by Narkai

Format: Commander

Commander: Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tadeas, Juniper Ascendant leads a Selesnya reach-tribal combat deck that breaks standard board stalls using evasion and pseudo-vigilance. Tadeas untaps attacking creatures with reach, makes them unblockable by larger creatures, and converts combat damage into card draw. The primary path to victory is establishing a wide board of efficient reach creatures, locking down opposing combat using Meekstone or Ghostly Prison, and overrunning the table with mass pump effects like Unnatural Growth, Gavony Township, or Last March of the Ents. Alternatively, the deck can leverage Approach of the Second Sun as a non-combat win condition.
