Faramir soldier deck by Bananuns

Format: Commander

Commander: Faramir, Prince of Ithilien

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a focused Azorius Soldier tribal strategy helmed by Faramir, Prince of Ithilien. The primary game plan is to go wide with Soldier creatures and tokens, leveraging anthem effects like Cathars' Crusade and Door of Destinies to turn a swarm into lethal combat damage. Faramir provides political value: opponents who attack you give you three 1/1 Soldier tokens, while those who don't let you draw a card. The deck also includes a dense protection suite and a handful of board wipes to reset the game. Secondary win conditions include Strixhaven Stadium's point-based elimination and Elspeth, Sun's Champion's emblem. The deck plays a patient, incremental game, building a board presence and overwhelming opponents through sheer numbers and pump effects.
