Deck overview

This Dimir deck leverages Marvo, Deep Operative to bypass the steep mana costs of game-ending blue and black spells. By combining a dense suite of topdeck manipulation tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Soothsaying with high-mana-value bombs, the deck guarantees victory in clashes whenever Marvo attacks. Winning the clash draws a card and casts an 8-mana-value spell for free, dropping titan-class threats such as One with the Multiverse, Hullbreaker Horror, and Sphinx of the Second Sun onto the battlefield as early as Turn 5. A robust package of low-cost counterspells and protective equipment defends Marvo during vulnerable attack steps, while extra-turn spells and unblockable combat damage systematically close out the table.
