Exile by Hellzpyro

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Zuko

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mardu "cast from exile" value deck built around Fire Lord Zuko. Zuko's Firebending turns every attack into red mana, and his second trigger turns every cast or enter-from-exile event into a team-wide +1/+1 pump. The deck layers redundant exile engines - Prosper, Tome-Bound, Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival, Daredevil, Man Without Fear, Arana, Heart of the Spider, Dream Pillager, and Plargg and Nassari - to play extra cards, generate Treasures and Thopters, and grow a modified battlefield. It is not a combo deck; it wins through a wide, counter-buffed combat step, with Summon: Primal Odin as an alternate "one hit kills a player" ender and Mount Doom as a long-game mana sink. The commander accelerates every part of the plan, but the 99 contains enough independent exile payoff cards to keep functioning even if Zuko is taxed out.
