Deck overview

This Boros Equipment deck is led by Nahiri, Forged in Fury, focusing on aggressive combat and explosive card advantage. The strategy revolves around deploying inexpensive Equipment in the opening turns to reduce Nahiri's casting cost via affinity. Once Nahiri enters the battlefield, attacking with equipped creatures triggers impulse card advantage and cheats Equipment mana costs directly into play. The deck utilizes powerful stat boosters like Colossus Hammer and Excalibur, Sword of Eden alongside keyword enablers like Embercleave and Halvar, God of Battle to eliminate opponents sequentially through lethal combat swings. A strong suite of tutors ensures reliable access to key weapons, while equip-cost reducers such as Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist bypass hefty equip costs. Resilient protection spells and indestructible equipment safeguard the board against conventional removal.
