Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Dimir tempo-burn list commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The strategy accelerates into play on Turn 2 by using cheap unblockable creatures to trigger Commander ninjutsu directly from the command zone. Once assembled, the deck abuses Yuriko's triggered ability to draw cards while dealing massive damage to all opponents simultaneously based on revealed mana values. High-cost cards such as Shadow of Mortality and Temporal Trespass provide burst damage, while split cards and delve spells maintain practical deck efficiency. Topdeck organizers like Scroll Rack, Brainstorm, and Lim-Dûl's Vault ensure consistent high-damage hits. The list protects its proactive assault with efficient, low-mana and free interaction including Deadly Rollick, Snuff Out, and Flare of Denial. Because Commander ninjutsu ignores commander tax and bypasses counterspells, the deck applies relentless pressure that typically eliminates the entire table by Turn 5.
