Deck overview

This Grixis typal deck is led by Loki, the Deceiver, focusing on aggressive combat lines powered by Marvel Villain creatures. The core strategy deploys low-curve Villains on early turns, followed by casting Loki on Turn 4. Beginning on Turn 5, Loki attacks to clone high-impact Villains as tapped and attacking Illusions, triggering connive effects, token creation, and combat damage card draw across multiple opponents. The deck finishes games through wide combat swings bolstered by typal anthems such as The Squadron Sinister, The Masters of Evil, and Titania, Proud Pummeler. While the deck features efficient creature and artifact removal alongside powerful board wipes like Toxic Deluge and Blasphemous Act, it carries notable vulnerabilities to countermagic and instant-speed removal due to a lack of stack interaction and limited defensive protection spells.
