Kona Mono Green by cavecards

Format: Commander

Commander: Kona, Rescue Beastie

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kona, Rescue Beastie is a mono-green survival-cheat deck: ramp hard, tap Kona (by attacking or through creature-tap mana abilities), then put the biggest permanent from hand into play every second main phase. The main win is an unstoppable board of trampling fatties, with Blightsteel Colossus and Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant as the premier payoffs. Secondary paths include Oviya/Eladamri/Ghalta backup cheating and a Fynn/Ohran Frostfang poison underbelly. There is no hidden commander: every line is built around activating Kona's Survival, and the deck leans on draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Vaultborn Tyrant, and The Great Henge to keep the hand full.
