Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis discard-matters strategy helmed by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The core plan is to force opponents to discard cards repeatedly, triggering a payload of payoffs that drain life, create tokens, generate mana, and draw cards. Kefka's front face provides group discard on ETB or attack, earning extra draws based on card types discarded. The back face transforms into a flying draw engine that converts opponent life loss into card advantage. A flicker subtheme (Conjurer's Closet, Displacer Kitten, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling) resets Kefka's ETB multiple times per turn cycle. Wins come through cumulative damage from Megrim, Liliana's Caress, Monument to Endurance, Psychosis Crawler, Niv-Mizzet, Parun, and token beats from Waste Not/Bone Miser. Windfall acts as a mass discard burst that can finish tables. The deck lacks tutors, relying on redundancy and card flow to assemble its engine.
