Deck overview

Magus Lucea Kane is the deck's main engine: it adds two mana and copies the next X spell, turning one large X spell into two payoff permanents. The deck develops with early dorks and land ramp, casts Luce as early as turn three, then combos X-heavy draw and mana generation to cast Hydras and Tyranids at high X values. Unbound Flourishing, Owlin Spiralmancer, and Zimone, Infinite Analyst make the X spells even more profitable. The primary finish is a hasted flying counters-based combat with copied huge creatures; secondary paths include X burn from Zoanthrope and artifact/enchantment sweepers such as Rampaging Yao Guai. The deck has no compact infinite combo line.
