Deck overview

This Abzan deck focuses on lifegain, life loss, and aristocrats synergy commanded by Betor, Ancestor's Voice. The deck uses early turns to develop mana and place utility creatures onto the battlefield or into the graveyard. Once Betor is deployed alongside sacrifice outlets and recurring fodder like Ophiomancer and Bloodghast, it leverages life swings to simultaneously grow massive threats with +1/+1 counters and reanimate key creatures every end step. The deck pressures the table through incremental life drain from Blood Artist, Dina, Soul Steeper, Defiling Daemogoth, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. High-impact payoffs like Beledros Witherbloom and Debt to the Deathless provide late-game burst mana and decisive finishing power, while a versatile removal package ensures control over opposing threats.
