Garland, Royal Kidnapper - $50 by gihadil688

Format: Commander

Commander: Garland, Royal Kidnapper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Dimir theft deck uses Garland, Royal Kidnapper as a repeatable steal engine. Garland makes an opponent the monarch and steals a creature for as long as they stay monarch, while stolen creatures get +2/+2 and resist sacrifice. The deck backs this with many independent theft and reanimate effects that take creatures from the battlefield, hands, and graveyards. Goad auras and monarch pressure force opponents to attack each other while you draw cards and grow threats like Consuming Aberration. With no infinite combo, you win by building a board of stolen threats and attacking through for 40 damage per opponent over several combats.
