Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color political forced combat engine commanded by Karona, False God. Rather than attempting to assemble infinite combos or race the table, the strategy turns opponents' creatures against one another through an extensive suite of goad mechanics, Vows, and Impetus auras. Early turns prioritize ramp and color fixing using a high-density fetch-and-shock land base, quickly setting up defensive barriers like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda. By Turn 4 or 5, the deck deploys self-driving threats such as Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos or casts Karona equipped with an Assault Suit or a protective Vow. As opponents are forced to attack each other, combat draw engines like Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant and Nelly Borca, Impulsive Accuser keep the hand full. Once the table's life totals are depleted, the deck closes the game using combat blowouts like Inkshield, Spectacular Showdown, or direct Karona commander damage.
