Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is built as a Mardu aikido/monarch deck. The primary plan is to become monarch early, use the card draw and the deterrent of deathtouch tokens to stay ahead, and then force opponents' own creatures into bad attacks with goad effects and damage redirection. The commander is both a draw engine and a hasty equipment carrier; there is no hidden commander or second face. Secondary paths include a Brash Taunter + Fire Covenant life-payment combo and a go-wide token swing after Inkshield. The deck closes principally by equipping Marchesa with Sunforger or a Sword, doubling with Duelist's Heritage or Gisela, and taking each opponent out with commander damage.
