Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord is the engine and finisher of a Grixis amass-control deck. The main plan is to create one huge Orc Army with Grishnakh, Corsairs of Umbar, Saruman, and amass sorceries, then ride Sauron's Ring trigger to discard the whole hand and draw four, fueling discard payoffs such as Magmakin Artillerist, Lazotep Chancellor, and Monument to Endurance. Secondary paths use Syr Konrad and Psychosis Crawler as life-drain clocks plus a Living Death/reanimation reset. There is no double-faced commander; Sauron's single face is the card-advantage core, while Saruman, the White Hand acts as the main supporting amass engine.
