New Untitled Deck by supa_4

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari token-explosion deck built to extract maximum value from Chatterfang, Squirrel General's replacement effect, which tacks a bonus Squirrel onto every token-creation event. The 99 is dense with token engines - Squirrel Nest, Bitterblossom, Deep Forest Hermit, Hazel of the Rootbloom, Garruk, Primal Hunter - and an amplifier layer of Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Peregrin Took and Academy Manufactor that turns one Food into a board. Wins arrive via a Craterhoof Behemoth alpha strike, a Coat of Arms/Beastmaster Ascension go-wide finish, or death-trigger drain from Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat and Nadier's Nightblade fed through sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Plumb the Forbidden. A graveyard recursion subtheme - Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Liliana, Death's Majesty, Woe Strider - provides staying power through wipes. Chatterfang is the amplifier, but the engine density in the 99 keeps the machine grinding even when he is answered.
