Commander: Minthara, Merciless Soul

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Minthara, Merciless Soul is a four-mana Orzhov experience-counter commander. The deck wins by making permanents leave the battlefield every turn through flicker and sacrifice, stacking experience counters, then turning a wide token army into a lethal swing. Token engines such as Adeline, Brimaz, Hero of Bladehold, Rabble Rousing, and Endless Foot Assault flood the board; Lae'zel and proliferate effects double the counter gain. Porcelain Gallery and Sword of Truth and Justice act as secondary scaling payoffs. Minthara provides the global +X/+0 anthem and a scaling ward, while instant-speed blink protects her and triggers the same end-step condition. Lae'zel plays the hidden-commander role, accelerating the entire game plan whenever she lives.
