Deck overview

This is a toughness-matters beatdown deck built around Doran, Besieged by Time. The commander both discounts fat toughness-heavy creatures and pumps each attacker/blocker by its power-toughness gap, turning 0/10+ creatures into massive damage. The primary plan is to resolve a toughness converter (Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, Doran the Siege Tower, Baldin, or Felothar), build an overwhelming board, then finish either through a hasted Last March of the Ents turn or incremental commander-pumped attacks. Secondary lines include Betor's total-toughness half-life trigger, Tree of Perdition life-swaps, and a Tainted Strike infect kill. The deck is a mid-speed, value-oriented combat deck with a strong endgame but no instant combo.
