Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools and Kodama of the East Tree into a potent aristocrats and stax-attrition strategy. The primary game plan revolves around generating expendable tokens with Tevesh, Scute Swarm, and landfall triggers, then leveraging them through sacrifice outlets to fuel deep card draw and asymmetric board control. Pieces like Braids, Cabal Minion, Grave Pact, and Archfiend of Depravity continuously wipe opposing creatures and strip resources, while Tergrid, God of Fright turns opposing sacrifices into an insurmountable board presence. Mana acceleration from green landfall enablers seamlessly facilitates high-mana threats, while Kodama cheats additional permanents into play with every cast. While lacking instant-speed stack interaction and defensive protection spells, the deck dominates fair tables through relentless card flow, crushing permanent denial, and inevitable life drain.
