Kokusha-mos by Gooselord666

Format: Commander

Commander: Kokusho, the Evening Star

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck harnesses Kokusho, the Evening Star to drain the entire table through repeated death and recursion loops. You establish sacrifice outlets and mana engines early, then deploy Kokusho or alternative drain threats like Gray Merchant of Asphodel. By leveraging cheap instant reanimation spells, repeatable recursion engines like Strands of Night and Nim Deathmantle, and sacrifice synergies, you force multiple death triggers per turn cycle. Opponents rapidly lose life while your total increases, allowing you to pay life aggressively for draw spells and close games with devastating burst drains or Sanguine Bond combinations.
