Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive Temur midrange game plan centered around Eshki Dragonclaw. The strategy leverages low-cost self-bouncing creatures like Reinforced Ronin, Fleeting Effigy, and Cactuar alongside cheap noncreature cantrips to consistently satisfy the commander's dual-spell trigger. Each combat step yields +1/+1 counters and fresh card draw, turning Eshki into an overwhelming trampling threat. Counter multipliers like Innkeeper's Talent and Doubling Season rapidly accelerate commander damage thresholds, while auxiliary beaters like Quilled Greatwurm and Smaug the Magnificent provide independent offensive pressure. The deck operates smoothly on curve with efficient 1-to-2 mana ramp and protects its board through resilient cards like Heroic Intervention and Glen Elendra's Answer. It closes games by eliminating opponents sequentially over several combat steps.
